Software Integration for QuickBooks Online
An invoice can look right in your scheduling software and still create a problem in QuickBooks Online. If it arrives twice, lands in the wrong account, or doesn’t match the payment you received, someone has to find and correct the difference.
Nectar Bridge helps growing service businesses connect their operating software with QuickBooks Online and check that the information coming through makes sense in the books.
When Integration Support Makes Sense
You may need help if:
Your team enters the same invoice in two systems
Payments appear in one system but are hard to match in QuickBooks
Duplicate or missing transactions keep showing up
You’re adding field-service software and want to plan the accounting side before you start using it
Your QuickBooks reports changed after you connected another application
Jobber and Housecall Pro are examples of tools a service business might use alongside QuickBooks Online. We’ll look at the software you actually use rather than recommend a particular vendor before we understand your workflow.
How We Approach an Integration
We start with a real transaction. Where is the invoice created? How does the customer pay? What should appear in QuickBooks, and who checks it afterward?
Those answers tell us what the connection needs to do. We can then review the available settings, look at how transactions are coming through, and identify where the records stop matching. If you’re setting up a new connection, we’ll discuss how to check its first transactions before relying on it for regular bookkeeping.
An integration may reduce duplicate entry, but it doesn’t replace review. Someone still needs to reconcile the accounts and catch errors when a setting changes or a transaction doesn’t come through as expected.
Support for an Existing Connection
If your systems are already connected, we can help investigate a specific problem: duplicate invoices, payments that are difficult to match, or income appearing in an unexpected place on your reports.
The fix depends on where the problem begins. It may involve a setting, a bookkeeping process, or historical transactions that need separate cleanup. We’ll explain what we find before making changes to records you rely on.
The Result
Your team should know where to enter an invoice, how its payment reaches QuickBooks Online, and who checks that the books reflect what happened. That gives you a clearer process when something doesn’t match.
If the books also need ongoing attention, Nectar Bridge’s monthly bookkeeping packages are a separate option.
Pricing and Scope
Integration work is scoped to your software and the condition of your existing records. Reviewing a new connection is different from correcting months of transactions created by a faulty one. We’ll discuss the proposed work and price before the project begins.
Software subscriptions, historical bookkeeping cleanup, and monthly bookkeeping aren’t included unless your agreement says otherwise. Some changes may also depend on what your software provider allows its connection to do.
